Supported by the generous donation from the S.H. Ho Foundation, the S.H. Ho Research Centre for Infectious Diseases of the Chinese University of Hong Kong was established in June 2023. With a mission to advance the sciences of infections for creating positive health impacts in the population, the Centre’s research mainly focuses on infectious diseases of public health importance with special emphasis on emerging and re-emerging infections impacting or anticipated to impact Hong Kong, Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region.
